Gratings for pedestrian transit

Electro-forged gratings are made of plates that can vary in weight and camber, depending on the load to which they are submitted and the space that must be covered.  These gratings are joined together with transversal rods that are cold processed and cut. The plate and the rod are joined through an electro-forge process, which guarantees that each crosspoint is merged. These products are manufactured under AASTHO standards.

PRFV gratings

Gratings made of fiberglass reinforced polymer are manufactured through an automated process within a mold shaped like a square mesh. Using tension, the fiberglass is merged longitudinally and transversally. This mold, which has a given pre-temperature, receives a resin that is injected with high pressure at different points.

Drainage gratings and sewers

Electro-forged gratings for drains and sewers are resistant and have large openings that permit fluid flows along its entire length to keep areas free of accumulation. They should be installed with plates that run along the short end of the drain given that less light penetration indicates more resistance to loads. If the grate is placed on the long end of the drain, it should be supported at the points indicated in our tables.

Ladder steps

These steps are manufactured with metallic grating where the type of plate used depends on the load. This product is manufactured with a striated plate to prevent slipping and two plates or angles are placed at each of the extremes to fasten the steps to the ladder’s structure.
