Scaling bars

Scaling bars are made of aluminum and are used to remove rocks or slabs that are loose after blasting. These products are vitally important tools in mining work, where they are used as support and to secure the work area. These products are made of Duraluminio SCH80 and both of the tips are made of SAE 1045 steel that has been annealed and tempered to a hardness of 32 to 45 Rc.

Benefits

  • Light and highly resistant, which provides rigidity during maneuvering.
  • If needed, these products come with cartridge protection to prevent damage during rockslides; they slide through a tube and have a triangular handle.

Use

  • In underground excavations.

Eyebolts

Eyebolts support electric cables, water pipes, lighting, ventilation, etc.

Benefits

  • Easy to install.
  • Immediate anchoring.
  • Not heavy, easy for workers to handle.

Uses

  • As support for installation of all the mine’s auxiliary services.
  • To set up fans.

Mine hanger hooks

Rods that are bent and/or welded in corrugated or smooth iron in diverse diameters and designs, which are manufactured at client request. Used as suspension hooks for different types of accessories and/or equipment and are installed in rock mass or wood.

Benefits

  • Fast installation.
  • Immediate anchoring.
  • Not heavy, easy for workers to handle.

Uses

  • Installed in water and air pipes (2 sections).
  • Pumping lines (1 section).
  • Electric Energy Cables (3 sections).
  • Electric cables for the Jumbo.

Expansion heads

Clamping accessories with expansion heads that are installed in the rock using a drilling process. Very useful to hold cables, ducts, hoses, scaffolding, steel mesh, etc. These products are made from steel according to technical standards.

Benefits

  • Easy and fast installation.
  • Provide significant support for services inside the mine.
  • Better grip, thanks to an expansion head with 3 fins.
  • Imported products.
  • Zero waste.
  • Increments the speed of work, optimizing manual labor.

Uses

  • Support for electric cables.
  • Support for lighting.
  • Support for water pipes.
  • Support for the air pipe.
  • Support for fans.

Anfo chargers

Manufactured in stainless steel and mounted on the chassis and wheels, which facilitates transport. Used to transport granulated ANFO, an explosive based on a mixture of ammonium nitrate and fuel. With these types of chargers, the explosive is propelled through an anti-static hose and semi-conductor through air pressure. This equipment’s design is torispherical and contemplates one cylinder-shaped body and another tapered body made of stainless steel that is resistant to corrosion.

Benefits

  • Manufactured to withstand conditions on the mining site.
  • Can be manufactured in different sizes and shapes, in accordance with the client’s requirements.
  • Products manufactured with high standards for quality and quality controls.
  • Delivered with a certificate of hydrostatic pressure.
  • Easy to transport.

Uses

  • Used to inject anfo in drills.
  • Injects explosives faster into the drills to accelerate the operating cycle.

Anti-static hose

Anti-static hoses are recommended to charge ANFO. Because this is an explosive material, the hose needs to conduct the static electricity generated in the process to load the product.

Benefits

  • The surface is flat, which facilitates handling and prevents excessive friction of the hose with the hole made by the drill bit.
  • Facilitates conduction of ANFO in positive drill from a distance of 4 to 5 mts.

Use

  • In underground or open pit mines.

PVC and HDPE for blasting

These pipes are used to facilitate placement of explosives in very complex rocks: abrasive and fractured. Installation should take place immediately after each drill perforation to prevent internal collapse and avoid inconveniences during installation.

Benefits

  • Initial resistance is achieved after 10 minutes and after 30 minutes, is high enough for each layer of shotcrete to support its own weight. Consequently, the underground mining cycle takes less time to complete.
  • Presents high flexibility in concrete at low temperatures.
  • Are appropriate for use to resolve water filtrations.

Use

  • In drag drills, PVC pipes should be installed immediately after perforation; when the terrain is fractured and crumbly, the driller should go over the drilling area again to facilitate installation of these pipes.

Shotcrete calibrators

Elements to measurement and control for shotcrete. Allows user to obtain homogenous 2” and 3” layers, depending on geomechanical recommendation. Manufactured by a steel SAE 1006 body measuring 4 mm, covered with high-density polypropylene with an average resistance to impact plus 600 PSI. These products come in fluorescent colors to make them easy to see.

Benefits

  • Ensures the thickness of shotcrete, meaning a minimum of 2 inches thick and uniform from end to end.
  • Prevents undesired events due to falls of rock mass or fresh shotcrete.
  • Optimizes concrete consumption.

Use

  • For shotcrete application.
