- Solution: On-going training, correction of the process to install support and periodic campaigns for start-up tests.
Unidad Minera Morococha
- Client: Sociedad Minera Austria Duvaz
- Year: 2021
- Problem: Elevate use of anchor bolts due to friction when applying set split bolts in areas where rock quality is in the IV A range.
- Solution: Replaced anchor bolts with hydraulic expansion bolts (Swellex) and generated a 33% reduction in the total sustaining cost.
Unidad Minera San Cristóbal
- Client: Minera Bateas S.A.C.
- Year: 2019
- Problem: Electrowelded mesh openings of 4”x4” elevated the sustaining cost; the format of these openings meant that rocks were able to pass through, which generated incidents.
- Solution: Replaced this mesh for Meshpro® caliber N°10 with openings of 3”x3, which reduced the sustaining cost by 10%.
